The Clinical Research Facility runs Garvan clinical projects that look at the effect of hormones (e.g. growth hormone, sex steroid hormones, insulin) on different metabolic systems. Staff also monitor volunteers involved in pharmaceutical clinical trials, such as those
for osteoporosis medications.
