Gene Chip Facility
The Gene Chip Facility contains the Affymetrix Microarray System
that is used to compare the levels of gene transcripts in tissue
samples. It is used to find potential genes of interest, the
subsets of which can then be further analysed in the ACRF Unit that can
handle large numbers of samples.
Garvan was the first in Australia to establish the system.
