The Immune System in Health and Disease - BOOKED OUT

Learn how the immune system is regulated in health and disease. In
particular, this seminar will look at what goes wrong with the immune
system to cause diseases such as type 1 diabetes, asthma, rheumatoid
arthritis and chronic fatigue syndrome.
The seminar will provide an opportunity to hear about the latest
research and breakthroughs in these disease areas and the chance to
interact with leading clinicians and researchers.
Speakers include:
Emeritus Prof Antony Basten AO FAA FTSE - Senior Principal Research Fellow; Acting Director, Immunology Program, Garvan Institute of Medical Research.
Dr Shane Grey - Senior Research Fellow; Group Leader, Gene Therapy & Autoimmunity Group, Immunology Program, Garvan Institute of Medical Research.
Dr Ute Vollmer-Conna - Head of the Department of Human Behaviour, School of Psychiatry, University of NSW.
Kendle Maslowski - Immunology Program, Garvan Institute of Medical Research.
