Kinghorn Centre for Clinical Genomics

The Kinghorn Centre for Clinical Genomics (KCCG) was established by the Garvan Institute in 2012 to advance the use of genomic information in patient care.

Clinical genomics is a rapidly evolving field focused on the use of genomic sequencing information in patient diagnosis and treatment. KCCG is a state-of-the-art research and sequencing centre that:

  • pioneers studies to improve genome interpretation; and
  • employs world-leading DNA analysis technology and expertise in genetics, pathology and bioinformatics to deliver and interpret genome sequences for research and clinical use.
