Biography
After graduating from the University of Cambridge in Experimental Physics I moved to London to start an interdisciplinary PhD in Prof Paul French’s group at Imperial College London. My PhD project was a collaboration with the Katan lab at the Institute of Cancer Research and involved developing microscopy techniques to image the activation of multiple proteins in live cells during chemotaxis.
My project involved developing tools for fluorescence lifetime imaging (FLIM) and polarisation-resolved imaging. After my PhD I joined Dr Paul Timpson’s Lab to develop these techniques and apply them in an in-vivo context to study invasion and metastasis.
