The Garvan Institute established the Kinghorn Centre for Clinical Genomics (KCCG) in 2012 as an Australian research and sequencing centre to deliver and interpret genome sequences for clinical use.
In January 2014 we acquired a HiSeq X Ten sequencing platform, which will provide KCCG with powerful genome sequencing potential and the capability to sequence up to 18,000 whole human genomes per year.
