Weekly seminars
Staff are encouraged to attend a range of presentations where Garvan postdocs, PhD students and invited national and international speakers present their research findings. Foremost amongst these is our Leaders In Science and Society seminar series.
Conferences
Conference leave is available to staff and students to attend and present at national and international conferences.
Annual postdoc symposium
An annual one-day conference is held for postdoctoral researchers working at Garvan, one of many ways collaboration is fostered between our research themes. Prizes are awarded for best presenter, best poster and best question.
