L'Oreal-UNESCO Girls in Science Forum

You are invited to an afternoon of research demonstrations, seminars, Q&A panels and a meet-and-greet with our leading female scientists.

Wed 22 Nov from 12:00pm

In 1998, L'Oréal and UNESCO founded the For Women in Science program to improve the representation of women in scientific careers, based on the firm conviction that the world needs science, and science needs women.

Each year, the program recognises the achievements of exceptional female scientists at different stages of their careers and awards them with Fellowships to help further their research.

Partnering with the Garvan Institute of Medical Research, we are pleased to invite you to the 2023 Girls in Science Forum. Students will be able to hear from this years Fellows, engage in a Q&A session and meet-and-great, and witness a science demonstration from Garvan's female researchers in the hopes to equip them with the knowledge and confidence to pursue a career in STEMM.
