Pituitary Fellow

Dr Sunita De Sousa is an Endocrinology Advanced Trainee at St Vincent’s Hospital and the Garvan Institute currently undertaking a Pituitary Fellowship. She graduated with honours in Medicine at the University of New South Wales in 2009. She then undertook Basic Physician Training at the Royal Adelaide Hospital completing her Royal Australasian College of Physicians examinations in 2013.

She has a strong interest in education, with previous roles including Clinical Associate Lecturer in the School of Medicine at the University of Adelaide and junior doctor representative on the Royal Adelaide Hospital Medical Education Committee. She is currently undertaking an MSc in Endocrinology and Diabetes at the University of London and pursuing research projects in the areas of acromegaly, familial pituitary tumour syndromes and disorders of sexual development.
