Ovarian cancer Australia
A not-for-profit national organisation that provides support and advocacy for people affected by ovarian cancer. Ovarian Cancer Australia is a key part of an international alliance of ovarian cancer organisations who work to raise awareness of ovarian cancer on a global scale.
Cancer Australia
Cancer Australia was established by the Australian Government in 2006 to benefit all Australians affected by cancer, and their families and carers. Cancer Australia aims to reduce the impact of cancer, address disparities and improve outcomes for people affected by cancer by leading and coordinating national, evidence-based interventions across the continuum of care.
World Ovarian Cancer Day
May 8th, 2013, was the first World Ovarian Cancer Day. On this day, ovarian cancer organisations from around the world united to educate their communities about ovarian cancer and its symptoms. For women living with the disease, and their families and friends, World Ovarian Cancer Day has built, and will continue to build a sense of solidarity in the fight against the disease. 2017 marks the 5th World Ovarian Cancer Day.
