Nicola was born in Casalduni, Italy on the 2nd of October 1946. He migrated with his family to Australia on 21/9/1967 at the age of thirteen. Nicola attended Magill Primary School, not far from where he lived. Growing up was a happy time for him, living with his mom, dad, five brothers and his sister.
He commenced work at the age of seventeen with Cooper’s Brewery. Later, he commenced his trade as a bricklayer. He always worked with a passion and a smile. Working alongside his two brothers, his career stopped when he became ill in 2011.
His passion for dancing, Rock & Roll music, and love for his team “The Crows” lived in him until the end. Supporting the Crows and Adelaide United were his passion. Working and maintaining his house gave a great joy for him. Nicola was blessed with four daughters and nine grand children, two step daughters and two step grand children.
My best and fondest memory of Nicola is the love and respect that we both shared for one another. Nicola will always be remembered as a peace maker and a gentleman. Nicola was a very happy man and he will always live in my heart.
