Biography

Kendelle completed her Bachelor of Science, Majoring in Pharmacology and Biochemistry at the University of Western Australia before completing her Honours degree at the Garvan Institute (University of New South Wales). She continued her studies and completed her PhD under the guidance of Prof Paul Timpson and Dr David Herrmann at the Garvan Institute in 2020. During her PhD candidature, Kendelle used a precision and personalised medicine approach to study how the surrounding microenvironment influences Pancreatic Cancer invasion, metastasis and chemotherapeutic response.

Expanding on this research, Kendelle remains under the guidance of Prof. Timpson, using world-class imaging technology and patient derives samples to expand upon her previous work in a bench-to-bedside manner.
